Junior Blasters (for boys and girls aged 5 to 8)

Junior Blasters is for kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities. The activities are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment.The active, inclusive program allows kids to make friends, develop social skills and team work. It's about fun, fitness and being a good sport!

As a Junior Blaster participants will learn how to catch, throw, bat and bowl while developing their game sense in fun interactive activities. It's specially designed for kids new to cricket. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket.

Junior Blasters is a fun and fast program, completed in a maximum of 60 minutes. All equipment is supplied and each participant receives a participant pack comprising a bat, ball, shirt and bucket hat so kids can practice their skills during the program and at home with family and friends.

Master Blasters (for boys and girls aged 7 to 10)

After learning all the basic skills in Junior Blasters, Master Blasters allows kids to experience modified games of cricket using lighter equipment in a format that is fast paced with equal participation. The program was developed to ensure junior cricketers can progress with confidence to Stage 1 Junior Formats.

The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week, at a local cricket club or community centre.
